This website is not engineering advice

This is the clause that matters, so it comes first.

This site describes what we are capable of. It describes processes, unit operations and technologies in general terms. Nothing on it is a design, a specification, a calculation, a recommendation for your plant, or professional engineering advice, and nothing on it should be acted on as though it were.

Effluent, water and process design depends entirely on the actual stream, the actual site and the actual regulatory limits that apply to you. Two plants that look identical on paper can need different treatment trains. Any real design has to be based on characterisation of your own effluent and confirmed by pilot work where the process calls for it. Figures that appear anywhere on this site are indicative and are not a performance guarantee.

If you want engineering for your plant, that begins with a conversation and a scope — not with a web page.

Enquiries

Sending an enquiry does not create a contract or a professional relationship between us. It is an invitation to talk. We may decline to respond, and a response is not an offer unless it says so.

Please do not send confidential or commercially sensitive information through this form. If a discussion needs it, we will put a confidentiality agreement in place first. Anything you send before then is not treated as confidential simply because you consider it so.

Do not use the form to send unlawful, misleading or abusive content, to attempt to disrupt the site, or to send bulk or automated messages.

Accounts and comments

These rules will apply when accounts and comments open. Neither is available on the site today.

You will need an account to comment. Give accurate details, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has got into your account. What happens under your account is treated as done by you.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, and we may remove or edit any comment. We will not usually explain each decision, and we are not obliged to publish anything.

What you must not post

• Anything unlawful, threatening, harassing, or targeted at a person.
• Anything that is not yours to post — text, images or drawings belonging to someone else.
• Confidential or commercially sensitive information, whether yours or an employer’s. A public comment thread is not the place for it, and posting it there may waive its confidentiality.
• Advertising, spam, or links posted for search ranking rather than for readers.
• Personal data about anyone else — names, contact details, photographs — without their agreement.

Comments are not engineering advice either

The same warning that applies to this website applies with more force to its comments. A comment is the opinion of whoever wrote it, not ours, and not checked by us before or after it appears. Technical suggestions in a comment thread are not a design, a specification or professional advice, and must not be acted on as though they were. If a comment concerns your plant, treat it as a conversation starter and nothing more.

What you write stays yours

You keep ownership of what you post. You give us permission to store and display it on this website, and nothing more — we do not claim the right to reuse your words in our marketing or anywhere else. Delete your comment, or your account, and it comes down.

Intellectual property

The text, images, layout and design of this site belong to us or are used with permission. You may read, print and share pages for your own reference. You may not republish them, sell them, or present them as your own.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Gandhinagar, Gujarat have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from this website, except where the law where you live gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
